What was the one time capital of BC, New Westminster today is a city on the move. It’s history dates back to when the Fraser River was the lifeline of the Western frontier. New West was originally selected in 1859 as the capital for the new colony of British Columbia and seen it’s share of ups and downs, including the great fire of 1898.
Today New West or the ‘Royal City’ is punching above it’s weight with new developments, towering cranes and new infrastructure projects underdevelopment or planned.
JDC has two rental buildings in New Westminster, Edgewood Towers, on 615 7th avenue and Edgewater Hamilton, located at 610 Hamilton Street. They are conveniently located within walking distance to Up-Town which holds grocery stores, shops, banks, medical offices and excellent choice of local restaurants.
