Are Pets allowed?
We do not accept pets.
Are there Electric Vehicle chargers?
None of our parking garages are equipped to charge electric vehicles, bikes, or scooters.
Are you maintaining a waiting list?
Yes, our caretakers are maintaining a waiting list and will call you as new apartments are available. If applicants are called and deny tenancy, they will be removed from the waiting list.
Can I add a roommate?
It is possible depending on the size of your apartment, current occupancy, occupancy type, and the terms of your lease.
Adding a roommate or changing occupancy is a material change to the lease and may require the formation of a new lease.
The landlord must give you permission for any occupancy changes. Please contact your Resident Caretaker or Property Manager for more information.
Do you require a lease?
Yes, we have 1-year leases that then transition to month-to-month.
Do you require a security deposit?
Yes, and it is equal to half of your first month's rent.
How can we pay rent?
New Tenants must enroll in preauthorized debit payments. We will not accept any other payments.
How do I sign up for automatic rent payments?
JDC requires Pre-Authorized Debit payments. The PAD form is to be signed upon beginning of tenancy. PAD forms can also be requested from caretakers.
Is parking included?
Parking is not included in rent. You may add parking by way of a separate parking agreement.
Is smoking allowed in your buildings?
Smoking is not allowed in our buildings.
Is there laundry in the building?
Our Buildings have shared laundry facilities.
What is included in the rent?
Please refer to the specific building on https://www.jdcgroup.net/residential as not all our buildings have the same features.
Who do I call if I have a problem?
Talk to your Resident Caretaker whose contact you received upon the start of your tenancy.
Who do I make my rent checks payable to?
It depends on your building. Please double-check with your Resident Caretaker.
